PSA Japan grading, explained
What is PSA Japan?
PSA Japan is the Tokyo office of PSA, the largest trading card grading company. Cards graded through PSA Japan get the same PSA label and slab as cards graded in the US, and the same certificate lookup on psacard.com.
Why submit to PSA Japan from Tokyo instead of from my own country?
A domestic submission in Japan has lower fees and is usually faster than an international one. Your cards also skip the trip to the United States and back, so there is no extra round of customs. I handle the PSA forms, the packing and the return shipping.
How much does PSA grading through you cost?
¥5,000 per card for 1 to 10 cards and ¥4,000 per card for 11 to 30 cards. More than 30 cards gets a custom quote. Shipping your cards to Tokyo and the return parcel are separate. You pay the grading fee only after your cards have arrived and I have checked them.
How long does PSA grading take?
Usually 45 to 90 days from the day I submit your cards to PSA Japan, depending on the PSA queue. I keep you updated when your cards arrive, go to PSA, come back graded and ship home.
How do I send my cards to Japan?
Send me your card list on Instagram and I send you the Tokyo address. Put every card in a penny sleeve and a semi-rigid holder or top loader, sandwich them between cardboard, and ship with a tracked service. Write your name or submission number on a note inside the parcel.
Can I buy PSA 10 Japanese cards instead?
